Scary Stories Part 4

Shriekville - Blake - 5th grade

"I can't believe this is really happening! " My parents must have gone nuts.  They just announced to me, that we are moving! Don't they see I see I am settled here, have great friends, love my school and play sports!  "Honey, we are only moving 2 hours away to Shreikville." says mom.

While I am packing my bags, I surf the internet and find that Shreikville is the smallest town on the map.  It's supposed to be haunted, but who would believe that silly tale. On our way there I play my PSP and my brother Ethan was singing to VeggieTales. How annoying!

When we arrived, I jumped out  of the car of desperate need of silence. The house is big, old, and colorless. " Mom, Dad, do you expect me to live in this oversized trash can? "  I asked.
"Blake, give it time, you will get used to it. " mom said.  As I began to unpack in my new bedroom, the door slammed shut.  "Bam!!" The window suddenly started shaking. Then the next thing I know my bag flew across the room and hit my door. Scared out of my mind, I ran up and down the hall screaming like a crazy guy.  I suddenly stop….

I hear loud music. It's the "Monster Mash" blaring.  I feel something grab my arm, but no one is there. My heart is racing as fast as a cheetah.  My brother thinks its funny so he starts doing it too. Ethan looks like a Zombie Robot. His teeth turn into fangs. " Yummy, I'm hungry.." all of a sudden my hands drop and I can move again.  I bolt out the front door running through town looking for help.

All I can see is horrible creatures of the dark. Vampires, zombies, and werewolves were all chasing me. I am sweating like a pig, my legs go numb.  I fall off a cliff info a lake. I feel soaking wet…I awake in my bed, safe and sound, but still wet if you know what I mean.  Just a little tip, don't drink to much soda on Halloween night.  Happy Halloween.


Autumn  - No One Looked

Walking slowly down the stairs, the boy felt a slight breath of wind on his neck.  The boy walked faster when he noticed he was going nowhere. So he stopped and without moving, he was going up the stairs.  He yelled really loud, but no one heard him. As he was going up as door opened on the house. He tried to stop himself, but he just couldn't. The boy was in the room, the door locked, he couldn't get out, so he gave up.  Everyone was looking for him, but no one looked, not once looked in the abandoned house.

A Halloween to Remember
Ashley - 5th Grade

One night Molly and Chad were changing into their costumes for a Halloween party. Molly is 11 years old and wearing a cupcake costume. The cupcake costume was a big hoop with pink and blue fabric over it and tiny sparkly confetti as sprinkles. While chad is 12 and wearing a ghost costume.  His costume was a long white sheet and a scary mask over his head.  Molly said, " You ready? "  "Yes?" replied Chad. They both walked out the door to the Halloween party.

They started up the stairs and opened the door. The party was full of crazy, cute, and scary costumes. When they stepped in the door it slammed shut behind them.  Chad said, "That was weird."  Chad and Molly walked over to the food table. On the food table, there where potato chips, pretzels, cheese-its, pizza, and a huge double layer cake with tons of black, orange, and red icing, brownies, pumpkin pie, and finally the cupcakes. The cupcakes were chocolate with orange icing and black sprinkles.

Some people around them automatically turned into mummies. Chad and Molly ate a cupcake and turned into mummies. All the mummies formed a line and start walking up the stairs so they followed. The line turned right into a room. The room was pitch black. Then a white figure came walking toward us. It came closer and closer when a hand started crawling with it. The hand and white figure crawled up to them when… "Ah!!" it yelled. The sheet came over its head and out popped Chad's friend.  Everyone screamed and Chad's friends started cracking up. Chad said,  "This is Chase."  "

How did you make the hand so real? " Molly asked Chase.  "I had a string and since it was pitch black no one could see it," replied Chase.  After everyone started leaving Molly and Chad turned into their real self.  While people walked out the door it opened right for them and slammed behind them. "Weird," said Molly.  Chad replied, "I agree."  Before leaving Chad and Molly got two extra cupcakes, just to keep handy...
