Introducing the My Hometown Project

Hey Y'all ,

I have not been on in a while, but I have been crazy busy with school, trips, sports, science fair projects, history projects, and well I could keep going but I don't have time. But I have had time to think up a great new project for all of us here in Ohio. It's called the My Hometown Project.

The Goal of the My Hometown Project is to get kids and selected Ohioans to share about their hometown and let more people know about it.

What do I want to know about your hometown?

1. Where you live - just city and state, no addresses please
2. Hot Spots in your area - what do most people like to do
3. History - tell us something cool about your town, how old is or if someone famous was born there.
4. Picture - Take a picture of a landmark in your town and email it, we will include it. Please no pictures of people or you.
5. Best Place to Eat - Give us your restaurant review of the best place to eat.

Each week I will feature at least one My Home Town to let us all find out more about Ohio and what there is to see and do.

ALL TEACHERS: If your class wants to submit a MY HOMETOWN Class projects with bunch of details on your hometown, email me and I will do a couple day feature on the blog for you!

As always, make sure to get your parents permission before sending.

Send your My Hometown info to kidsnewsohio@gmail.com

Peace,

RJ :D
